Here is a quick test I did, using two lenses.
The first is the Nikon 1 30mm to 110mm zoom lens.
I took a photo at 30mm (equivalent to 81mm FX, 55mm DX) here:
This is equivalent to about an 81mm lens on a full-frame camera, or about a 55mm lens on a DX crop-frame Nikon like the D7000. If you look closely at the telephone pole in the middle of the photo, you see a platform around it. That platform is about 80 inches (2 meters) wide. there is a tall 2x4 vertical board at each side of the platform. These boards are the ones that are 80 inches apart (just over 6 feet). They'll be easier to see in the coming photos.
Next, I took a photo with that same lens at 110mm (300mm FX, 200mm DX) here:
The boards are much easier to see here.
Next, I changed lenses to use my "Bigma" 50mm to 500mm Sigma lens. Here it is at 50mm (135mm FX, 90mm DX):
Looks a lot like the first photo. This is also necessarily using the Nikon FT-1 adapter that lets you put Nikon F-mount lenses on the V1.
I tried to go up to each 100mm increment from 100mm, but it was hard to hit right on. Here is 116mm (313mm FX, 209mm DX):
Here is 195mm (526mm FX, 351mm DX):
Here is 320mm (864mm FX, 576mm DX):
